Who We Are

Founded in 2010, Sheep Dog Impact Assistance (SDIA) is a national not-for-profit organization that assists in transforming the lives of military members, veterans, first responders, and their families through posttraumatic growth.

Our Mission

To Engage, Assist, and Empower our nation's heroes through our Get Off The Couch™ programming, which creates a continuum of care, to transform trauma into growth and help them live their best lives.

What is Posttraumatic Growth

Posttraumatic Growth (PTG) is a positive psychological transformation that can occur after trauma. It's the foundation of our Get Off The Couch™ programming.

SDIA DRM TEAM DEPLOYS TO CENTRAL TEXAS

This morning at 9:30am, the Sheep Dog Impact Assistance (SDIA) Disaster Response Team (DRT) of 18 volunteers from Arkansas, Missouri and Wisconsin departed from the Center for Nonprofits in Rogers, AR. This team will meet up with 85+ volunteers from 17 states when they arrive in the Kerrville/Liberty Hill area this evening.
